5/6/12 Marin, (Stafford Lake). Another great race! We experienced beautiful weather at this all new venue. During our pre-ride, we realized that many parts of this course were literally cut just days before, it was a bumpy ride. Also, due to the temps and winds, pollen was in the air and many riders suffered from alergy related problems.

On race day we experienced our warmest race yet with light winds. Riders were suffering from the grueling course and hot temps. This was a very senic venue on the edge of Stafford Lake, but we hope next year the trails will be well worn in.

Congratulations to Dan Pedersen who had a 10th place finish! Also, Carson had his best ever JV finish at 17th. Maddie took the podium with a Series 1st place title and her brother Tobin finished with a series 4th place (which included missing 1 race).
