The GBK Team at Granite Bay just before the start of the freshman and sophomore boys race. Babette had just completed her race and Tayler (missing in this photo) was already in the lineup for his race. As of race two, we are now in 12th place in the league! Congratulations to our racers for their great times Sunday.
GBK MTB raced a beautiful, fast course around the shores of Lake Folsom with excellent results. Three of our racers placed in the top ten: Taras (Sophomore) in 5th place, Ray (Freshman) in 6th place, and Max (Sophomore) in 9th place. Taras, despite yet another mechanical, still placed very well. The course had a few extremely annoying sand sections (including the starting line), but was generally fun overall.
