At Toro Park, the GBK team encountered the biggest climb they had yet faced: 800 feet of climbing and a tight single track afterwards. The downhill was treacherous (some racers had to be carried out), but all the Kirby riders made it through safely and quickly. This would be the last race for Taras and Babette. Throughout the season, Babette's points and dedication helped the team secure a 12th place finish out of 25 in the NorCal High School Dvision 2!
