After 5 months of training, 4 riders battled mid 90's temperatures on the biggest climbing course of the year- much more than the climbing on the Toro Park course. This course was the most technical by far, but our team’s superior training on the rocks and roots in UCSC made the course a breeze. Michael and Max both had their best finishes of the season. Ray had yet another mechanical: this time his chain broke, which ruined the rest of the race for him. Max placed 6th, Ben placed 11th , Tayler placed 12th, Michael 14th. It was an amazing (yet hot) end to a fantastic season.
