02/04/12, East Garrison- Fort Ord. Today some of our team members participated in the first CCCX Mountain Bike Race at Fort Ord.  It was a beautiful day and our team did very well.  

It was great to watch a very intense race in the U18 boys category as Jonah, Kyle and Carson raced against Norcal competitors from Salinas Cowboys and Santa Cruz Composite.  Geneva and Alice rode their very first mountain bike race with JJ leading the way. Anbar supported the GBK cheering section!

The racers on the podium this morning were Kyle Peterson in 2nd place and Jonah Hinman in 5th place.  In the girls race JJ Anderson held 2nd, Geneva Burkhardt took 3rd place and Alice Koltchev took 5th place.  Thank you to everyone who participated as a racer and those who supported our racers.
