Has any radio controlled airplane pilot not dreamed of what it would be like to be in their model during flight?  With the advent of light weight and reliable  first person video gear now readily available, this dream is coming true.  With FPV gear attached to a very stable craft such as a modern quad copter, the ability to fly like you're in your model is here.

Combining a love of photography with a passion for flying models, FPV flying has brought a whole new dimension of flight to my hobby.  After initially hanging a GoPro from my Trex 450 helicopter chasing my high school mountain bike team through a meadow,  I now fly a Mulitwiicopter, arduino based quad copter.  And wow, how much nicer it is to fly the quad with the GoPro than a heli.  Due to the excellent flight characteristics of the multiwii board, I can't imagine a more stable, smooth and fun to fly platform than the quad.
