2/22/14- NorCal High School league, southern conference race 1

Kirby rocked at its first high school race of the season.  While we didn't have any individual podium finishes, the sum total of our riders points gave us a third place position in the field of 18 division two high schools.  Monte Vista High School of Cupertino came in 4th while Aptos High came in 1st, followed by the Santa Cruz Mountains Composite Team coming in second.  Alice and Geneva both finished in the top 10, with Alice taking 7th and Geneva 8th.  Other top finishers were Chester coming in 8th (after a devastating last place start), Jordan who came in 12th place Kyle who came in 13th in his 5 lap Varsity Race.  Congrats to Kesh and Adam who also had their first NorCal race.

We are very lucky to have had the day documented by the excellent photos that team dad Larry Kerr took throughout the day.  Larry captured the essence of the fun and the competiion that we greatly enjoyed yesterday at East Garrison.  Click here for photos.
